 Location:

Piedmont Hills High School
1377 Piedmont Rd., San Jose, CA. 95132

Nearest Airport:

San Jose Airport (SJC)

Schedule:

November 7, Saturday

Godo Keiko

The gym will open at 4pm and close at 7pm 

Godo Keiko with BOD will start at 5pm and end at 6pm

November 8, 2026

* 11:45 AM - 12:45 PM – Registration
* 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM – Testing (5 Dan & Above, Shogo)

Application Deadline:

Friday, October 23, 2026 by Midnight PT

(All applications and payments must be submitted by this date—no exceptions.)

Menjo Fee Payment:

o   Only pay the examination fee at the time of application.

o   If you pass, the menjo fee must be paid within two weeks (by November 22, 2026)
via PayPal (payment@auskf.org).

o   Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation of your new rank.

Rank: Test Fee 

• 5 Dan: $100 

• 6 Dan: $120 

• 7 Dan: $150 

• Renshi: $120

• Kyoshi: $150

Rank: Menjo Fee (Pay after you pass the exam)

If you pass, the menjo fee must be paid within two weeks

Application Process:

•   All applications must be submitted online (please do not mail physical documents).

•   Register here 

Important Requirements:

• SafeSport Training: All Kodansha examination candidates must complete the SafeSport training before applying.

• Access 2026 Training: SportsEngine | Sign In Step 1 

• Written Essay Submission: Essays must be submitted in Word or PDF format—handwritten submissions will not be accepted. 

Payment Information:

•   Application fees are non-refundable and non-transferable unless AUSKF cancels the event. AUSKF is not responsible for travel expenses in case of cancellation. We strongly recommend booking refundable flights/hotels.

•   PayPal refunds will be subject to a processing fee.
