Sunday, November 09, 2025
* 11:45 AM - 12:45 PM – Promotion Exam Registration
* 12:00 PM - 12:40 PM – Open Practice
* 12:45 PM                    – Tachiai Demonstration
* 1:00   PM                    – Open Ceremony
* 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM     – Promotion Exam (5 Dan & Above, Shogo)

Application Deadline:
Friday, October 24, 2025
All applications and payments must be submitted by this date—no exceptions.

Application Process:

• All applications must be submitted online (please do not mail physical documents).

• Register here: Kodansha Shinsa Registration - November 09, 2025

Important Requirements:

• SafeSport Training: All Kodansha examination candidates must complete the SafeSport training
  before applying.

Written Essay Submission: Essays must be submitted in Word or PDF format and ONLY in ENGLISH—handwritten submissions will not be accepted.

Payment Information:

• All payments must be made online. If you experience any issues, please contact promotion@auskf.org.

• Application fees are non-refundable and non-transferable unless AUSKF cancels the event. AUSKF is not responsible for travel expenses in case of cancellation. We strongly recommend booking refundable flights/hotels.

• PayPal refunds will be subject to a processing fee.

• Menjo Fee Payment:

  • Only pay the examination fee at the time of application.

  • If you pass, the menjo fee must be paid within two weeks (by November 23, 2025) via PayPal.com and enter payment@auskf.org as the address to pay.

  • Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation of your new rank.
